Vintage 1943 Contract WWII Fried Ostermann M-445a Shearling-lined Flight Leather Jacket
This jacket was a contract for the U.S. military in 1943 during WWII. Given that it is over 75 years old, there are some issues that will need to be addressed and repaired. The Talon zipper works great, but the male end that feeds into the zipper is starting to come undone on the opposite side. Also there are multiple tears in the leather (mostly on the seams) although there is at least one small repair done on the back that is starting to open back up. It appears to have had a professional repair done on the right hand side chest at one point that is holding up extremely well. Wrist knits are in fantastic shape and the leather overall has beautiful character to it.
All measurements are taken laid flat on the floor.
